A WOMAN – AN HONOR

OM, the sound of the universe

Is the reverberation of the feminine power within us

Embodied within her is the unity of Nature and Nurture

The suffering of her family is her only torture

Her passion to connect and create, is the substance in the intensity of her emotions

Therein lies her strength, but forget not her silence is more powerful than her words or actions

Attractive to her, is the road less travelled, her every step – A leap of faith

As she smilingly embraces her intuition, for she knows within her soul is the geography of her fate

Innumerable atrocities & injustices she faces fearlessly with her head held high

For she knows in the depth of pain, is the revelation of the truth of life

Rejections she can live with

 Regrets she avoids with grit

Failure and success do not define her life’s pace

For her glory lies in her consistent  expression of grace

Culture & traditions she molds constantly with her courage to reform

As she knows life is a constant change and was not meant to conform

From the conviction of her heart, blossoms a home within the walls of her house

Her compassion and steadfastness, is what makes her home – A powerhouse

Unconditionally she showers her love, a lack of respect for her dignity is her only consternation

For she only lives with hopes, not with expectations

So, here is my message for the girls of today,

In the woman of yesterday

Should lie the inspiration for the woman of today

In your search for feminism, abandon not your feminity

In the expression of your sexuality, abandon not your sensuality

Remember, to kindle love and trust in the Masculine

Is the essence of the DIVINE FEMININE

LIFE – A JOURNEY

Life is a mystery to be lived

Not a problem to be solved

A phrase that speaks to me so often

For life is a journey, not a destination

Fear and pain are life’s greatest teachers

So let love and trust be the only wise preachers

Life’s past is too far gone & the future yet to come

So live it well & live it now; live in the moment some

The kiss of life so transient, like footsteps in the sands of time

Look not for kinships permanent, just make memories time after time

Let your heart row the oars in the boat of life

To help tame the turbulence without strife

Make not decisions until you introspect

So not to have regrets in retrospect

Seek not perturbations of the cynical mind

And spurn not the sentiments of the humble kind

Vindications & gratifications, pry not for more

Remember in life’s journey, LOVE IS THE ONLY SHORE.

DEFINITIONS

Issues we face on the playground of our mind field

But Challenges arise in the background of our energy fields

Victory lies in our ability for discernment

But hurry not to win for it is not a tournament

To summit this mountain is not your destination

Go with their flow and they will serve as your inspiration

Fight them not, for they can be persuasive

Reject them not, for they will be intrusive

To seek or not to seek, is a dilemma that’s only natural

But seek not in the external, for wisdom is truly internal

Close your eyes and sit still, don’t be oblivious

And you will see, life is but obvious

While your questions stand as a testament to your limitations & perceptions

Your answers are a reflection of your intentions & your DEFINITIONS !!

A FRIEND

A soul traveller in time & space of human dimension

Crossing paths with many but few are worth a mention

Friends we call them, some for a lifetime, some for a season

Ignore them not, as they are here for a reason

A bond to seal for a purpose to fulfill

Encouraging your strengths, they enlighten your issues and that’s how a trust they instill

Challenges we face and dreams we seek

Friends are the ones to whom our heart & soul speaks

They let you live your truth smilingly

As they embrace theirs willingly

Opening doors not just to their lives but to their hearts

Laughing together, they wipe your tears even while apart

A celebration of your victories, they mistake not as your vanity

An expression of your grief, they mistake not as your self-love in scarcity

Appreciating your timeline, they uphold your dignity

Relentless in their efforts to help you manifest your desires

Your unspoken needs they hear even as your voice retires

Its true what they say – ‘ A FRIEND IN NEED IS A FRIEND INDEED ’

But I believe what YOGA says, when you are your own true best friend, you will have NO NEEDS !!!!

THE ABSOLUTE STILLNESS

Stop and think before you come to conclusions

Make your perceptions but stay open as life is nothing but ever changing illusions

Perceptions are necessary to stay balanced while seeking the experiences of a human life

But all perceptions must dissolve into one while seeking the experiences of a spiritual life

Human life is all about perspectives, negativity is in the mind of the perceptor

Hence strive always to be introspective, stay focused, be a receptor

To take care of yourself but live for others is called self care

To live for yourself and not care about others is called selfish care

It is the delusions of the mind that create conflicts in the external

While your spirit is constantly battling the conflicts in the internal

It is the desires of the mind and body that are binding

Steer away and connect with your spirit, let it guide your heart, the path however winding

To follow your heart is the right choice, but attach not to a destination you think is right for you

Remember, the treasures that you seek is not outside but all within you

Hence in reality, it is not a conflict between you and another body

It is truly a conflict between your spirit and your mind & body

So perceive not as a conflict between good & evil

The only conflict is between the knowledge of your spirit and the ignorance your mind chose at will

Any path you take will be laid with challenges

Choose wisely, for the only choice is between unnecessary and necessary challenges

The absolute truth is that only in the human dimension there exists a pursuit for happiness

While in the spiritual dimension, happiness is a given and it is in the form of ABSOLUTE STILLNESS
